On The Way South

This is a story about how one day absentminded Goose Magnus forgets about the last Migration day. He tries to catch up, but a snowstorm stops him in the forest, where he encounters a helpful hedgehog named Yens, who leads him to the Inn of Helga the Owl. There Magnus recovers from his exhaustion and sickness with the support of forest creatures living in the Inn. Helga surprises Magnus with a big collection of maps to help him find his way South. Magnus resumes his journey and promises to visit his new friends in Spring on his way back.

This tale is about friendship, kindness and unexpected help. I wanted to show that magic can be found in the most unlikely places and even great misfortune could be turned into a memorable adventure.
